Benito is a simple man who is bored with his life as a hardware helper. He then starts to wander and spots a cheap nightclub where he sees Charisse, a stripper. Benito immediately falls in love with Charisse. So the next night, he surprises her with a gift. But Bunny, the pimp in the club taunts him. This infuriates Benito and a fight ensues between them. Charisse tries to stop them and the two of them run away. Unknown to Benito, Charisse took Bunny's bag which contained a large sum of money. Soon, the syndicate goes after them and their boring lives were never the same again.
