Luisa (Velasquez) is a con artist who poses as a rich girl to an aging haciendero, Señor Manuel (Garcia). Señor Manuel falls for her and takes her to his hacienda in preparation for their wedding. There she meets Gabriel (Padilla), the right hand man of Señor Manuel who is very protective of the haciendero.
Sensing that Luisa is a fake and is only after the money, Gabriel tries to blow Luisa's cover. However, in the process, they find themselves falling for each other and are torn between their loyalty to the old man and their love.
Meanwhile, Señor Manuel senses what is happening between the two people he values most in his life and all are caught in a situation they could not control. But in the end, the love that binds the three will free and heal the wounds of their past.
After ten years, Robin and Regine reunite for this box-office smash which serves as a worthy follow up to "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw".
