Desperadas projects the lives of four half sisters (they have four different fathers) of different temperaments, personalities and circumstances. Lawyer Stephanie (Iza Calzado) is sort of conservative and considered inhibited by her sisters. Though married to Richard (TJ Trinidad), a doctor of several years, she is still childless. Fashionable Isabella (Ruffa Gutierrez), a single mother to small daughter Alexis, has a penchant for expensive things and lives beyond her means so she resorts to issuing checks that bounce. Sexy Patricia (Rufa Mae Quinto), married to Dave (Wendell Ramos) is a self proclaimed “sexologist” who gives questionable advice on sex. The youngest Courtney (Marian Rivera), an underwear designer, lives a liberated lifestyle. She is to marry the popular basketball star Patrick (Will Devaughn). Since all live within the plush family compound, the sisters know what each is up to. Stephanie tries to arouse her busy husband’s interest but to no avail. With no success as a lawyer and unfulfilled in her marriage, frustrated Stephanie falls for the charms of James (Ryan Eigenmann), a lawyer who takes an interest in her. Where will this relationship lead to? On the other hand, Isabella gets a marriage proposal from her longtime lover, Vito (Jay-R) but she refuses in spite of Vito’s gestures of paying her financial obligations. She gets arrested for her bouncing checks. Can she win the court case and stay out of jail? Domineering, insensitive Patricia flaunts her supposed “knowledge” of sex. This leads her gay husband to seek a male mate and come out of the closet. Can Patricia save her marriage? Courtney’s boy friend Patrick becomes a born- again Christian and refuses to sleep with her before their wedding. Wild and sexual, Courtney is angry and has second thoughts of marrying him.
